This great tasting raisin bread is filled with almond paste in the middle and contains many juicy raisins and currants. Three kinds of flour, milk, sugar, yeast, salt and all-purpose shortening are used to make this bread. This is also a great snack item in case you have company or when you are throwing a party. All you do is slice the raisin bread and serve it with coffee or tea. This bread also freezes very well.
