Speculaas Cookies

Holland is famous for its Speculaas. In the beginning people bought Speculaas especially in December, during Sinterklaas.  It became such a popular cookie, that the Dutch decided to eat it also during the other months of the year. The Dutch love a Speculaas cookie with their coffee or tea. The children even like to put a Speculaas cookie on their slice of bread!Holland staat bekend om de Speculaasjes.
